 Dr.Leon Lester is a native of Queens, New York. Dr. Lester has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from South Carolina State University. Additionally, in 1990 he received has doctorate degree in Dental Surgery from Georgetown University School of Dentistry. After his doctorate, he then completed one year of general practice at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.Dr. Lester began his dental practice in New Jersey over eighteen years ago. After moving to Charlotte, North Carolina he served as the Clinical Director of all contract dentists at Fort Jackson in Columbia, South Carolina in 1996. He served as Clinical Director for two years before starting his own practice. Currently, Dr. Lester provides his private patients with excellent dental care in his family practice on 2607 East Seventh Street, Suite 102 in Charlotte. Dr. Lester continuously researches and implements the finest advanced dental techniques available. Dr. Lester continues his post graduate training at the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI)-the epicenter for cutting edge dentistry. LVI is the world’s premier post-graduate facility for more than 3,000 international dentists. Dr. Lester has completed advanced, comprehensive cosmetic dental courses at LVI, as well as mastering state of the art restorative, TMJ and aesthetic techniques. LVI is most famous for teaching exceptionally advanced procedures and techniques, including the “Extreme Makeover” smiles that are so desired by everyone. Dr. Lester is affiliated with the American Dental Association and he serves as a board member of the Charlotte Dental Society. In addition, Dr. Lester is in the A.J. Williams Dental Study Club, and participates in the Charlotte Medical Outreach for Kids. |
